Ghanaian teenager Nana Kwame Boakye is on the verge of sealing a move to Norwegian Eliteserien club SK Brann in a deal worth around 1 million euros, Kickgh.com has learned.

The 19-year-old centre-back will sign a contract running until December 2029 after catching the eye of Brann scouts with a string of commanding performances for Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol.

Boakye made 34 appearances for Sheriff last season, featuring in both domestic and European competitions, and was named in the league’s team of the season.

He has already carried that form into the ongoing 2025-26 campaign, playing six times in UEFA Europa League and Conference League qualifiers and making eight league appearances before Brann moved to secure his signature.

The Reds see Boakye as a long-term investment and a player capable of adapting to a more competitive environment while continuing his development.
