Accra Lions FC have announced the transfer of their right-back Baba Salish Apiiga to Swedish topflight side IF Brommapojkarna in the just-closed transfer window.
The details of the move hasn’t been revealed but the Lions comfirmed the switch in a post on social media.
The enterprising lateral has been with the Blue-Blacks for years now having made over 60 appearances in the league with 2 goals to his name.
Both clubs have had a very strong relationship in previous years as Apiiga will be reuniting with his former teammates Evans Botchway and Ezekiel Alladoh at the Grimsta IP.
The 18-year-old is expected to make an instant impact to help the club make a better finish as they currently sit 9th in Allsvenskan table.
He is most likely to mark his debut against Hammarby IF in a club friendly tomorrow.
