Ghanaian topflight side Accra Lions have transferred striker Yahaya Mohammed to Albanian champions KF Egnatia in the ongoing summer transfer window, after spending just a season with them.
The exact years signed and details of the move was not revealed but the club posted this on social media to confirm the move;
"We are pleased to announce the immediate transfer of Yahaya Mohammed to Albanian Champions KF Egnatia. The lanky striker scored 6 goals in 25 Ghana Premier League matches for Accra Lions last season. We wish him the best of luck in his new challenge!"
The 19-year-old joined the Lions prior to the start of last season from Tamale City FC and has been very impressive since his arrival.
He managed 6 goals in 25 matches and made most of his appearances from the bench but still made good use of the little opportunity he had.
KF Egnatia after winning the Albanian Superliga last season are still looking to make some few additions in order to defend their championship in the ongoing 2024/25 football season.
Yahaya Mohammed is most likely to make this debut against Laç this Sunday, August 25, in match-day 2 of the new season.
