English-born of Ghanaian descent, Antoine Semenyo has extended his contract with Premier League side AFC Bournemouth ahead of the 2024/25 football season.

The 24-year-old has had a fantastic spell in the first phase of his contract since joining the Cherries in January 2023 despite battling some unexpected injuries in his early days at the club.

Semenyo with few years left, has now signed a new five-year contract which will see him play at the Vitality Stadium until 2025, although he will be permitted to leave in case a lucrative offer arrives in subsequent years to come.

However, in the ongoing campaign, the lanky forward has been amazing with series of top-notch performances having netted eight goals and provided two assists in 34 matches in all competitions so far.

His consistent stellar display has made him one of the supporter's favourite and caught the good eyes of the technical study team and included him among individuals to compete for the prestigious honour.

He was part of the Black Stars squad in the last international window when they recorded back to back wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Antoine Semenyo has joined AFC Bournemouth's preseason training already as he looks to get himself in a very good shape heading into the new season.
