The experienced striker of Ghanaian root completed his move to the Romanian top-flight campaigners in this  just-ended winter transfer window

Romanian Liga l side Gloria Buzău have announced the signing of Ghanaian centre-forward Kevin Luckassen for the rest of the ongoing football season.

The 31-year-old experienced former AZ Alkmaar youth product is joining the newly-promoted top division side on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Saudi Arabia Second-Tier outfit Al-Batin in this current campaign.

A brief statement over the capturing of the ex-FC Rapid striker read via their Social Media Platforms: ''We wish him good luck and many successes in the red-blue shirt.''

Kevin is not new to the Romanian elite division contest after having stints with Politehnica Iasi, Farul Constanta, Sepsi OSK Sf. Gheorghe, FC Rapid and UTA Arad in his career.

Before severing ties with Al-Batin, he netted 1 goal in 14 appearances across all competitions in this 2024-25 Saudi Arabian football season.

Given his Ghanaian root, he still remains eligible to play for Ghana at the international level after featuring for the Dutch U18 and U19 national youth teams.
