The forward of Ghanaian origin has completed his move to the newly-promoted Turkish top-flight side from the English third tier outfit in this summer window
English-born Ghanaian forward Dan Agyei has joined newly-promoted Super Lig club Kocaelispor from League One side Leyton Orient on a two-year contract, the club have confirmed.
The 28-year-old is teaming up with the Turkish outfit on a free transfer following the expiration of his deal with the English lower division side this summer.
Those in charge of the Kocaeli Stadium took to their micro-blogging platform X to announce the capturing of the former Burnley U23 star by stating; ''Welcome to our great community Dan Agyei! Our club has signed a 2-year contract with football player Daniel Ebenezer Kwasi Agyei.''
Agyei, who refused to pen fresh terms with Leyton Orient this summer, featured in 54 games for them across all competitions in the recently concluded 2024-25 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian origin, the London-born centre-forward remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage as he is yet to be cap-tied by the England national team.
