The teenager of Ghanaian root has completed his transfer loan switch to the English fifth-tier side until the end of the current campaign

English National League side Rochdale Football Club have announced the loan signing of English-born Ghanaian teen Michael Adu-Poku from Championship outfit Watford.

The 19-year-old winger, who spent the first half of the season at fellow National League campaigners Solihull Moors, is set to complete the current campaign on a yet another loan spell at the Spotland Stadium in the lower division contest.

An excerpt of official confirmation over the loan deal of the Ghana-prospect read via the club's official website: ''Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of wide player Michael Adu-Poku. The 19-year-old joins from Sky Bet Championship side Watford on a deal until the end of the season.''

The loan terms of the Watford youth product doesn't contain any purchase option for his permanent signing at the end of the season.

Before sealing his loan switch with The Dale, he figured in 13 league games for Solihull Moors in this ongoing 2024-25 English National League campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, Adu-Poku still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage as he is yet to be cap-tied by the English national team.
