The 20-year-old midfielder, who is currently being pursued by the four-time African champions, has recovered from his injury setback and he is due back to training next week

Belgium-born Ghana-prospect Pierre Dwomoh is set to start full-scale training with English Championship side Watford after being sidelined with a thigh injury in January this year.

The talented lanky attacking midfielder had to sit out for two months given the thigh injury he sustained during their  FA Cup third-round 4-1 defeat to Premier League side Fulham on January 9, 2025.

Nonetherless, the man in charge of the dugout at the Vicarage Road Stadium, Tom Cleverley, has indicated that the former Royal Antwerp FC midfielder will team up with his charges after the international break.

''Pierre will be training with the group at some point next week,'' the English gaffer told his club's official website. ''He will be available after the international break,'' he added.

The manager also gave an update on his injured duo of fellow Ghanaian descent Kwadwo Baah and shot-stopper Daniel Bachmann: ''Dan will be training with the team in two weeks, and then be available after the international break. Kwadwo will rejoin the group at a similar time to Dan with a view to be available after the international break.''

Before he was sidelined, Dwomoh figured in 6 games for Watford across all competitions in this ongoing 2024-25 football season.

The Mechelen-born talented attacking midfielder is still eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage despite featuring for the Belgium U15, U17 & U1& national youth teams.

He recently met with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team coach Otto Addo in London prompting speculation over his nationality switch in the near future.
