Former Benab FC defender, Emmanuel Osei Asibey has joined Romanian Liga II side CSM Ceahlâul in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Yellow and Blacks after a fruitful negotiations between both parties having passed all mandatory medicals.

Official club statement on Facebook reads;

"Emmanuel Asibey is a 20-year-old center-back originally from Ghana, where team-mates with Wiredu Akwasi at Benab FC. Last time the player evolved to Somuz Falticeni, in the 3rd League of Romania. Emmanuel Asibey signed with CSM Ceahlâul a contract valid for three seasons."

Asibey, previously featured for Șomuz Fălticeni in the Liga III and currently knows the terrain and now has the exposure of the Romanian game as he hopes to flourish in this new challenge.

The stalwart center-back is looking to have a very good preseason in order to gel himself very well for the upcoming season and is most likely his debut will come against Csikszereda in their opening game on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
