The former Ghana U17 captain has extended his stay with the Portuguese second-tier division outfit, with his new deal set to end in 2026

Ghanaian forward Eric Ayiah has signed a one-year contract extension with Liga Portugal 2 side FC Felgueiras, the club have announced.

The 24-year-old former AS Monaco U19 youth star, who linked up with the Dr. Machado Matos Stadium campaigners on a short-term deal during the January transfer window, is now set to spent the entire 2025-26 campaign with his current employers.

An official confirmation over the contract extension of the former Gil Vicente U23 attacker read via the club's official Facebook Account: ''Did someone say unbalanced? Eric Ayiah continues in 2025/2026.''

Ayiah, who had a tremendous season, netted 5 goals and assisted 3 in 29 games for FC Felgueiras across all contests in the just ended 2024-25 season.

He is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana Senior National Team, the Black Stars at the international level having played 10 times for the Ghana U17 national team.
