The German third tier side have announced the capturing of the Ghanaian attacker on loan until the end of the 23/24 football season 

Ghanaian attacker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has joined Bundesliga 3 side VfL Osnabrück on a season-long loan deal from parent club Holstein Kiel.

The 28-year-old striker is returning to the Osnabrück-based club for the second time after having stint with them during the 2016/17 football campaign.

An official statement confirming the loan signing of the former Bayern Munich man reads: "VfL Osnabrück and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt already worked together successfully in the 2016/17 season, and the club and players will be back together again next season. The purple-whites borrow the 28-year-old attacker from second division competitor Holstein Kiel."

The 1.88m tall forward made 26 league appearances, scoring 3 and assisting 1 for Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga 22/23 campaign.

Wriedt has 6 international caps for Ghana after swapping the European powerhouse for the four-time African champions for national team assignment.
