The 26-year-old stopper has completed his move to the Italian third-tier side in this current summer transfer window
Newly-promoted Italian Serie C side Caldiero Terme have signed Ghanaian defender Andrew Afful Amoh on a two-year deal, with an option of extension to a year upon its expiration.
The Lions captured the former ASD Villafranca Veronese man on a free transfer ahead of the new football season.
An official confirmation over the signing of the 26-year-old stopper read; "Calcio Caldiero Terme is pleased to announce the confirmation of Andrew Afful Amoh in the First Team roster. The defender born in 1998 has signed a two-year contract with the spa club with an option for a further season. After his first steps in Olimpica Dossobuono, Amoh spent almost his entire young career with Villafranca, before arriving in Caldiero last summer. The defender born in 1998 has made 22 appearances in the last year between the championship and the Cup."
Amoh said this deal is like a dream come true as a child yearning to become a professional player after linking up with his new employers; “I have realized a dream I had as a child. It will be an honor to wear the Caldiero jersey in the professionals. I imagine a difficult championship but one in which we will certainly try to have our say. I am already excited in view of the debut of the Cup. It will be a wonderful adventure”.
He still remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
