The former Ghana U20 star has completed his loan move to the Scottish top division side from the Hungarian top-flight outfit in this ongoing transfer window

Scottish Premiership club Dundee United have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Pappoe from Hungarian elite division side Ferencvaros.

The 21-year-old former Golden Kick SC youngster is joining the Tannadice Park campaigners on a season-long loan deal until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

An excerpt of official statement over the loan deal of the ex-FC Aarau midfielder read: ''Dundee United are delighted to announce the signing of Isaac Pappoe from Hungarian top-flight outfit Ferencvaros on a season-long loan deal. The move is subject to both international and SFA clearance.''

Head coach Jim Goodwin said of the capturing of the youngster via the club's official website: ''Isaac is a really exciting talent whom we’ve worked extremely hard to bring to the club amid strong interest from elsewhere. His energy and work ethic is infectious, and he has terrific ball-carrying and progressing abilities. Out of possession, he reads the game intelligently - a quality which allows him to intercept passes in dangerous areas and transition defence into attack quickly.''

He added: ''We enjoyed great success with the loan market last year - Luca Stephenson, Emmanuel Adegboyega and Sam Dalby amongst others were instrumental in our European qualification - and we’re confident Isaac can continue along this trend.”

Pappoe is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana Senior National Team at the international level after featuring for the Ghana U20 national youth team.
