"FC Lumezzane is pleased to announce the acquisition of the sports performances of the footballer Joshua Tenkorang from US Cremonese, on loan until 30 June 2025."
The lanky midfielder had this to tell his new employers right after putting pen to paper on the loan deal: "The impact with the whole environment has been very strong. There is a very positive atmosphere and a great desire to do well. I come to Lumezzane with great motivation, I immediately appreciated the project that was illustrated to me by the director and I can't wait to be able to help the team on the field. The desire to win is great, the goal is to improve on the path taken in the last championship, aware that there are four big favorites for the final victory such as Vicenza, Triestina, Feralpisalò and Padova."
Sporting director Simone Pesce added:
“Tenkorang is a player with great physicality and dynamism, with that ability to insert himself into the offensive phase that we were looking for to complete our midfield department.Furthermore, he knows the category well, having played in both the northern and southern groups in an important place like Foggia after the experience in Serie B in Lecco. His desire to wear our shirt, embracing our ambitions, has impressed us a lot and I am convinced it will be an important factor in his performance."
His current existing contract with US Cremonese will run out in 2027.
Given his Ghanaian parentage, he can represent Ghana at the international level.
