Ghanaian striker, Jordan Ayew, after completing his move from Crystal Palace to Leicester City, has revealed his personal ambitions and is also looking forward to help the club achieve their goals in the ongoing season.

He was officially announced by the Foxes last Friday morning for a fee of £8 million after a fruitful negotiations and has signed a two-year contract with an option for another.

The 32-year-old has been a key member of Crystal Palace since joining and netted four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace last season in all competitions.

Since joining the club in 2018 from Swansea City, the versatile attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances for the Eagles.

Speaking after the move, Jordan disclosed he chose to join the Blues due to the plans the manager Steeve Cooper has for him as he hopes to improve more as the season progresses. 

"He just explained to me how he wants to use me and as a player you don’t really demand much. But when you hear that the Manager wants you, you just want to work under him and improve as well," Ayew said.

"I’m not just coming to hang around, I’m here to work hard and make sure that I help the team to reach the targets. Hopefully, we have a great season all together with the fans and I’m really confident that this will be a good year," he added.

Jordan Ayew was a second half substitute in the Eagles' 2-1 defeat to Brentford having come on to replace Japanese international Daichi Kamada on the 70th minute.

He is most likely to mark his debut today for Leicester City when they play as guests to Fulham at Craven Cottage.
