Newly-signed Leicester City striker, Jordan Ayew has heaped praises on compatriot and his new teammate Abdul Fatawu Issahaku for his performance so far since joining the club prior to the start of last season.
He was officially announced by the Foxes last Friday morning for a fee of £8 million after a fruitful negotiations and has signed a two-year contract with an option for another.
The 32-year-old has been a key member of Crystal Palace since joining and netted four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace last season in all competitions.
Since joining the club in 2018 from Swansea City, the versatile attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances for the Eagles.
In an interview, the experienced forward revealed he is very excited and proud for how Fatawu Issahaku has settled down well at the club but affirmed he is at the King Power Stadium to help him and everyone in order to achieve their goals.
"I’m really happy for him because he has done really well since he first came in and I’m really proud of him," Ayew said of Fatawu. "Obviously, he’s young and he has more years ahead of him, but I’m here to help not only him, but everyone."
Jordan Ayew was a second half substitute in the Eagles' 2-1 defeat to Brentford having come on to replace Japanese international Daichi Kamada on the 70th minute.
