The talented teenage sensation has penned fresh terms with the Danish Second-Tier outfit, with the new deal set to run through to 2028

Ghanaian youngster Abdul Moro has signed a three-year contract extension with Danish 1st Division side AC Horsens, the club have announced.

The 18-year-old, who joined The Yellow Danger on an initial six-month contract during the summer of 2024, has been an exceptional talent with the Young AC Horsens side and has now been shipped to the first-team right after penning his fresh terms even though he would still be part of the U19 youth side.

A statement over the contract extension of the Ghanaian budding star read: ''It has only been a little over six months since Abdul Moro, after thorough scouting work, moved from Ghana to AC Horsens, and he has since been part of the Young AC Horsens squad, where he has taken significant steps.''

''He has developed into a profile in central midfield, and it was a completely natural step for him to become part of the first-team squad from the turn of the year, even though he is still an U19 player.''

''He continues to impress, and he has just signed a contract extension, so he is now an AC Horsens player until the end of 2028.''

Moro expressed his delight over his new deal as he looks forward to continuing with his development as an upcoming youngster given his quest to aid his side gain promotion into the top-flight this term, telling the club's official website: ''I am very happy to extend my contract with AC Horsens, because everyone has welcomed me well and is very welcoming. I have gone through good development since I joined the club a little over six months ago, and it has given me more self-confidence. Initially, I will work hard to become part of the starting lineup, and then I will be in the Superliga with AC Horsens.''

Sporting director Esben Hansen added: ''The process with Abdul Moro is a good example of our thorough scouting, because already this summer we could quickly see that he had such great qualities that he would only develop further through our good training environment and with playing time for Young AC Horsens. He has adapted very quickly, and it feels completely natural to sign a long-term contract with him. As a player, he is physically strong, technically good, humble and hardworking, and he has the qualities to make an impact in the first team already now and at a higher level in time.''

He is set to witness game time with the first-team of the Nordstern Arena Horsens campaigners in this ongoing 2024-25 football season.
