The Dutch giants have secured the services of the talented Ghanaian teenager from the lower division club ahead of the upcoming football season 

 Dutch-born Ghanaian teenage sensation Kwame Tabiri has joined Eredivisie heavyweights Feyenoord from second tier side FC Dordrecht on a two-and-a-half-year contract, the club have confirmed.

The 19-year-old is set to spent time with the Feyenoord Under 21 side for the 2025-26 campaign following his transfer move to the Sportcomplex Varkenoord this summer.

An official statement over the capturing of the former NAC Breda youth man read: ''Feyenoord and FC Dordrecht have reached an agreement on the transfer of Kwame Tabiri. The 19-year-old talented Tabiri, who will join Feyenoord Under 21 at Varkenoord, signed a contract in De Kuip until mid-2027, with an option for another season.''

The Ghana U20 star expressed his feelings right after sealing his move to the Rotterdam-based club in this current transfer market, telling the club's official website: ''I am proud that I was able to make the switch to a big club like Feyenoord,' says Tabiri. 'My first goal is to adapt to the level as quickly as possible and to show my qualities at Feyenoord Under 21. I am already looking forward to everything that is to come.''

Kwame is yet to be cap-tied by the Ghana Senior National Team on the international stage having played for the Ghana U20 national youth team.
