The 17-year-old budding star, who penned a two-year contract with the Gialloblù, becomes the fourth teenager to inked his professional deal after Pietro Arnaboldi, Edoardo Colpo and Andrea Maran.

Wiafe has so far elevated himself among his peers after passing through the U15 to U17 youth ranks since teaming up with the Stadio Alberto Braglia outfit at age 14.

Wiafe thus becomes the fourth born in 2008 to sign a professional agreement, after Pietro Arnaboldi, Edoardo Colpo and Andrea Maran.

''Born and raised in Ghana, he arrived in Italy in October 2020. After his initial experiences with Cittadella Vis Modena, in the 2022/23 season he was included in coach Martinelli's Under 15 team, with whom he reached the national playoffs, finishing the year with 7 goals. His growth continued in the Under 16 team , where he confirmed his high level, finishing the championship as the group's second-top scorer with 14 goals overall.

''The 2024/25 season represents a key step in his career: in addition to the 4 goals scored with the Under 17s , Wiafe makes his Primavera debut and finds his first goal in the Azzurri shirt, scoring in the European qualifiers against Norway.

''This season, he is an essential member of Paolo Mandelli's Primavera team : 13 out of 13 appearances as a starter, 4 goals and 2 assists, confirming his central role within the group.''

Given his talent as an upcoming wonderkid, he could be a sure bet for Ghana on the international stage in the near future despite playing for the ltaly U17 national youth team.
