Serie A club US Lecce are tracking German-born Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Amoako from 2. Bundesliga side Dynamo Dresden, a report from the German media has indicated.
The former VfL Wolfsburg man, who joined the Dresden-based club during the summer of 2025, has so far caught the attention of the ltalian top division campaigners and are now readying themselves to secure his signature in this January transfer window.
According to a report by Sky Germany, US Lecce have opened talks with the German outfit over the transfer deal of the ex-Hanover 96 youth star even though nothing has been reached yet between both parties given the suitors eagerness to get the deal done in no time this winter.
Amoako has so far impressed in this first half of the current campaign having taken in 17 game appearances across all competitions for Dynamo Dresden this term.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Hanover-born youngster remains fit to play for Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany national youth teams.
