The Swedish second division club have captured the loan services of the 19-year-old teenager from the Danish elite side for the upcoming campaign

Ghanaian teenager Issaka Seidu has joined Superettan side Ljungskile SK from Danish Superliga outfit FC Nordsjälland on a loan deal ahead of the start of the 2026 football season, the club have confirmed.

The Right to Dream academy graduate, who was also on the radar of Swedish top-flight campaigners duo, Degerfors and Västerås, is now set to spent the upcoming term with the lowly division club on a season-long loan following their promotion this season.

An excerpt of a statement confirming the loan signing of the talented defender read: ''The next new signing to join is Issaka “Baba” Seidu. The 19-year-old left-back joins the club from FC Nordsjælland on a loan deal that runs until 2026.''

Club chief  Gustav Agneman has told his club's media channel: ''Baba is a fast and skillful full-back with great quality in the build-up phase. He is also a threat in the final third, where he likes to add to his speed and feed sensitive crosses. He is an extremely determined talent that we believe will fit very well into our way of playing.

''This signing involved several parts of the club – first we in FU got in touch with FC Nordsjælland via a board member, then we mapped out the player's qualities together with our talented scouts, and finally we met with FC Nordsjælland and "Baba" on site in Denmark to get a better picture of him and stitch together the final details. This is going to be great!''

Before sealing his loan move, lssaku took in 13 appearances for FC Nordsjälland across all contests in this current football season.

He has been tipped to be a great prospect for the Ghana senior national team given his talent as a budding star in the near future.
