The 19-year-old winger of Ghanaian descent has completed his loan switch to the ltalian second tier outfit from his parent top-tier club in this ongoing summer transfer window

ltalian-born Ghanaian teenage sensation Patrick Nuamah  has joined Serie B side Catanzaro from Serie A outfit Sassuolo on a season-long loan deal, the club have confirmed.

The budding star, who was also on the radar of English Championship side Portsmouth and Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar, has been secured on a permanent basis by his aforementioned current employers from Brescia in this transfer market.

''US Catanzaro 1929 announces the signing of left winger Patrick Nuamah. Born in 2005, he joins Aquile from Sassuolo on a dry loan until June 30, 2026. The 19-year-old, a former Under-20 international, developed his footballing career at his hometown club, Brescia, where he made his Serie B debut at just 16. Last season, he made 23 appearances and scored one goal. Nuamah is already available to coach Aquilani at his training camp in Spiazzo,'' an official statement over the loan deal of the Ghana-prospect read.

He played an instrumental role for Brescia last term having figured in 24 games by netting 2 times across all competitions during the 2024-25 campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the talented budding teenager remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the ltaly U18 & U20 national youth teams.
