The 20-year-old defender has sealed his transfer move to the Romanian Third-Tier outfit in this current winter transfer window, with the duration of the deal remains undisclosed

Romanian Liga 3 side CSM Sighetu Marmației have announced the signing of Ghanaian youth centre-back Gilbert Narh from Moldovan side Petrocub.

The 20-year-old defender, who joined the Moldovan top-flight outfit from Ghanaian club Basake Holy Stars FC in August 2024, is set to continue his career with the Stadionul Municipal campaigners in the lower division contest after completing his move this winter.

An official statement over the capturing of the promising stopper read via the club's Facebook Page: ''Welcome, Gilbert Narh!"

"Our new player comes from the Moldovan champions, FC Petrocub, a team for which he has already played in two games in the Conference League."

"He performed against the strong Betis Sevilla and the Poles from Jagiellonia, demonstrating his qualities."

"A core centre-back, Gilbert is excited to join our team."

"We wish him the best of luck and we are sure he will be an important pillar in our defense."

Before sealing his transfer move to the Romanian side this January, Narh figured in 6 games across all competitions for FC Petrocub Hincesti in this current 2024-25 campaign.

He remains uncapped for Ghana Men's Senior National Team, the Black Stars.
