Serie B side Palermo have announced the loan signing of Ghana international winger Emmanuel Gyasi from Empoli.
The 31-year-old former Spezia Calcio attacking forward is joining The Eagles until the end of the upcoming season, with his contractual terms to be made permanent upon its expiration.
An official confirmation over the loan signing of the former Torino man read on the club's official website: "Palermo FC announces having acquired the sporting performances of Emanuel Gyasi from Empoli FC.The footballer moves on a loan with an obligation to buy.
"Emanuel was welcomed to Palermo by the City Football Group, president Mirri and the entire rosanero family."
The signing of the experienced attacker is now a moral booster for manager Filippo Inzaghi given his vast experience in the ltalian football contests having had spells with Spezia Calcio, Torino, Mantova, and FC Empoli so far in his career.
Gyasi currently boasts of 3 caps with the Ghana Senior National Team since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African giants in 2021.
