The 18-year-old teenager of Ghanaian heritage has completed his move to the Spanish top-flight outfit in this current summer transfer window

Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Gabriel Misehouy has joined La Liga side Girona FC on a four-year deal, the club have confirmed.

The Ajax youth product is joining the Estadi Montilivi Stadium campaigners on a free transfer after leaving his boyhood club this summer.

An official confirmation over his signing read; "Gabriel Misehouy, 18 years old, will be a Girona FC player for the next 4 seasons. The Dutch striker, who emerged from Ajax Amsterdam's grassroots football, arrives on a free transfer and signs a contract until June 2028. The player, who has dual nationality due to his Ghanaian origin, has already passed his medical and the preseason will begin this week under Míchel Sánchez. "

"Gabriel Misehouy is a very offensive and versatile player. He can play as an attacking midfielder, midfielder, inside or even as a winger. He stands out for his "dribbling", which allows him to navigate small spaces and face defenders effectively, but also for his ability to filter passes and to have the goal as his final goal. He scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 13 games in his last season wearing the shirt of Jong Ajax, who play in the country's second division."

"The new Girona player made his professional debut aged 17, with Ajax's second team, and has been a youth international with the Netherlands."

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains qualified to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Netherlands U16, U17 & U18 national youth teams.
