The ltalian third division club have announced the capturing of the defender of Ghanaian descent in this ongoing summer transfer window
ltalian-born Ghanaian defender Claud Adjapong has joined Serie C club Potenza Calcio on a two-year contract, the club have confirmed.
The 27-year-old right-back is joining the Red-Blues on a free transfer deal after leaving fellow lower tier side Ascoli Calcio at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
An excerpt of official confirmation over the signing of the former Sassuolo man read via the club's website: ''Potenza Calcio announces that it has acquired the rights to the sporting performances of the 1998-born footballer Claud Adjapong until June 30, 2027. A warm welcome to Claud in the red and blue jersey!''
His capturing by the Stadio Alfredo Viviani campaigners will come as a massive reinforcement for them ahead of the new football season given his vast experience in the ltalian football competitions so far in his career.
Having played for the ltaly U19, U20 & U21 national youth teams, Adjapong still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage.
