The 21-year-old defender has completed his loan switch to the French elite division outfit until the end of this current season
French Ligue 1 side FC Lorient have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian defender Nathaniel Adjei from Swedish Allsvanskan side Hammarby IF.
The deal will be made permanent after the end of the 2023/24 campaign as per multiple reports from the French media.

FC Lorient is pleased to announce the arrival, in the form of a loan, of Nathaniel Adjei (21 years old), the central defender of Hammarby IF, a Swedish first division club," statement over the capturing of the former Danbort FC stopper reads.
The Ghana Black Meteors man had this to tell his new employers as he's determined to go the extra mile to make impact in his debut season in the French top-flight: It’s a great opportunity for me to sign for Merlus and to discover Ligue 1, a championship which has seen many Ghanaians play there. By joining FC Lorient, I am taking a step forward in my career. I will continue my progress and strengthen myself at the highest level through contact with my new teammates. The challenge that awaits us is important but I will do everything to achieve the end of season objective.”
He has been handed shirt Number 32 and will be unveiled in today's training session.
Adjei is yet to earn his international cap with the men's senior national team the Black Stars.
