FC Honka left-back Edmund Arko-Mensah is closing in on a departure from the club, with South African top side Orlando Pirates in advanced talks to buy the Ghanaian permanently.
Arko-Mensah arrived at the Finnish club from Wa All Stars - which is now known as Legon Cities in 2020 to provide competition to first choice left-back Jonas Levänen.
His time at Tapiolan urheilupuisto has been underwhelming and Pirates manager José Riveiro has identified the versatile player, 20, as one to bring sterner competition in the left-back and left-wing position next season.
Kickgh.com understands Pirates are bent on closing in on a deal to take Arko-Mensah on permanent deal, though Honka is willing to help facilitate the move if the Buccaneers are ready to cough-out a juicy amount of money to convince them to release their top skanker to them.
If the deal goes through, the former Teshie Zinaps player will join compatriots Kwame Peprah and Richard Ofori to become the third Ghanaian at the DStv Premiership side.
