Ghanaian right-winger, Stredair Owusu Appuah, has signed a four-year deal with Italian Serie B side Palermo FC.

 

The 20-year-old enjoyed a stellar season in the Championnat National 2 for Nantes II, featuring in 16 league matches and scoring one goal.

 

“Palermo FC announces that it has acquired the sporting services of Stredair Appuah from FC Nantes,” the club said in a statement.

 

"The player transfers on a permanent basis, signing with the Club of Viale del Fante until June 30, 2029.

 

“A warm welcome to Stredair in Palermo from the City Football Group, President Mirri, and the entire Rosanero family.”

 

Appuah was born in Paris, France, and he's of Ghanaian descent. He holds both French and British nationalities.

 

He is expected to play a key role as the 'Pink and Blacks' prepare for the 2024/25 Serie B, which starts on Friday, August 16.
