The talented left-back has committed his future at the Městský stadion outfit until the summer of 2026.
Ghana defender Patrick Kpozo has signed a one-year contract extension with Czech First League side FC Banik Ostrava.
FC Banik Ostrava offered a contract extension to the 27-year-old full-back following his explosive performances in his debut season.
The club's official statement reads: ”We have secured the services of Ghanaian full-back Patrick Kpozo for another two and a half years. The left-back at Bazale has extended his contract until the end of 2026.”
Kpozo arrived at FC Banik Ostrava on a two-year deal from Moldovan Superliga club FC Sheriff in 2023.
Since he left the shores of Ghana in 2015 from Inter Allies, he has played for AIK, Tromso, Ostersund and IFK Lulea.
Kpozo has capped twice for the senior national team of Ghana.
Patrick Kpozo hailed for extending FC Banik Ostrava contract
FC Banik Ostrava sporting director Luděk Mikloško expressed his delight after the Ghana international opted to extend his stay until 2026.
“Patrick continues to maintain his consistent performance, so the assumption is that he will continue to be a valid player. He is also happy in Baník. That's why I'm very happy that we've agreed on the continuation of cooperation," said Luděk Mikloško.
Kpozo has made 42 appearances for the Blue and White lads, scoring three goals and providing four assists in all competitions.
