Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has returned to full scale training following a three months layoff with an injury.

The Arsenal key cog trained with his teammates on Tuesday, 20th February at the Sobha Realty Training Centre in Hertfordshire, as Arsenal prepare to face FC Porto on today (Wednesday) February 21 in the UEFA Champions League.

However, It is very likely that he will return to the pitch to feature in matches after a few more training sessions.

Few days ago, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reassured fans that the midfielder's injury was not serious and that his recovery was rapid despite his relapse at the end of January 2024.

Partey's injury prevented him from participating in the 2023 African Cup of Nations with the Black Stars of Ghana in Ivory Coast.

His return therefore marks a shimmer of hope for the Gunners and their teeming supporters, who are impatiently waiting to see him dazzle on the pitch again.
