English Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle have reached an agreement with IF Elfsborg over the acquisition of Ghanaian attacking midfielder Michael Baidoo in the ongoing winter transfer window.
The 25-year-old playmaker has been in England since December 31 and has already undergone a successful medical examination ahead of his switch to the Green lads.
According to Swedish tabloid Expressen, Plymouth Argyle FC has agreed a transfer fee of £1.45 million plus add-ons to acquire the signature of Baidoo on a long-term contract from IF Elfsborg.
Baidoo was one of many spectators for Argyle's league match versus Bristol City, which finished in a 2-2 stalemate at the Home Park Stadium on January 1.
He watched the game from the Lower Mayflower Grandstand's directors' area, as the Pilgrims rallied from a two-goal deficit to win a point.
