English Premier League side Brentford FC have reportedly expressed interest in securing the signature of Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman in the next summer transfer window.

Baba Rahman has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe following his explosive performances at PAOK FC in the Greek Super League since joining them from Chelsea last summer.

According to English tabloid West London News, Brentford have sent scouts to monitor the in-form Ghana left-back for a possible acquisition in the summer for a transfer fee of around £5 million.

Brentford FC are in search of an experienced full-back for their next season's campaign following the injury of Rico Henry, who is set to miss the remainder of the season and the start of the next season.

It is believed the technical handlers of the English Premier League side have identified the former Black Stars defender to strengthen their backline options for next season as Sergio Reguilón is expected to return to Tottenham Hotspur after the expiration of his season-long loan spell.

Baba Rahman, who arrived at POAK FC on a permanent basis from Chelsea last summer, has rediscovered his form to become a regular starter for the Black and White lads. He has helped PAOK FC reach the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

He played an instrumental role in PAOK FC's UEFA Europa Conference League last eight feat by scoring the first goal to help his club overturn a 2-0 deficit and beat Dinamo Zagreb 5-3 to book a date with Club Brugge in the next round of the competition.

Baba Rahman has managed to score four goals and provide two assists in 19 league appearances for PAOK FC in the ongoing season so far.
