German-born Ghanaian winger, Agyeman Diawusie, has joined Austrian Bundesliga outfit SV Ried in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Wikinger's after leaving German Bundesliga 2 side Dynamo Dresden.

The Austrian topflight side appear to have beaten a host of German heavyweights to the signature of the Speedacious winger.

The former Germany U15 and U19 star was a key cog at Dresden last season, playing 17 games in all competitions and appending three assists.

Diawusie revealed his excitement after signing the dotted lines: "I'm really happy to finally be able to step on the gas again and be on the pitch. It's now time for me to show my performance consistently for a year."

"I want to use the platform that SV Guntamatic Ried offers me. I'm good at one-on-ones, I'm fast and I want to help the team with these strengths."

Diawusie was born in Berlin to Ghanaian parents which makes him eligible to play for Ghana.
