Samuel Owusu grabs assist in OFK Beograd big away win at FK Napredak in Serbia

Ghana winger Samuel Owusu registered assist in OFK Beograd's comeback victory over FK Napredak in the Serbian Super Liga on Saturday.

OFK Beograd staged a fightback that secure 3-1 away win over FK Napredak in their match-week seven clash at the Stadion Mladost in Krusevac.

With just four minutes into the break, Filip Krstic opened the scoring for the home side with a cool finish to end the first half in a 1-0 lead.

OFK Beograd exercised their attacking muscles to dominate possession by scoring three goals to secure the three maximum points.

Owusu brilliantly teed up his teammate Gleofilo Vlijter with a sweet pass to level the score in the 61st minute of the game.

A late penalty converted by Aleksandar Palocevic and a 90+9 minute strike from Slobodan Stanojlovic ensured the Blue and Whites lads, their fourth victory of the 2024–25 season.

OFK Beograd, who secured promotion back to the Serbian Super Liga this season, are currently occupying fourth place on the log with 13 points after match-week seven.

Owusu was in action for 89 minutes while his compatriot Edmund Addo also enjoyed the entire duration of the game.

He has made three appearances for OFK Beograd since joining them on a free transfer this summer.
