Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in European football, attracting interest from several top clubs.

The 25-year-old has been instrumental for Bournemouth, with his impressive performances fueling speculation about a potential summer transfer. His stellar form during the 2024/25 season has seen him become a key figure for the Cherries, earning him the club’s Player of the Month award for September.

Despite growing interest in his services, reports from England suggest that Bournemouth are keen to retain Semenyo during the winter transfer window, especially as they aim to secure European football next season.

Which Premier League club is targeting Semenyo?

According to Fichajes, Manchester United have expressed interest in Antoine Semenyo. The report further indicates that United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is a keen admirer of the Ghanaian forward and is actively pushing for a deal to bring him to Old Trafford.

Despite boasting a talented attacking lineup, Manchester United continue to face challenges in their forward line, with Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggling to find consistent goal-scoring form.

Semenyo made his high-profile move to Bournemouth from Bristol City two years ago under Gary O’Neil. Although his initial spell in Dorset was challenging, he has truly found his stride over the past two seasons.

He registered a respectable eight goals in 33 Premier League appearances last season, marking a solid debut campaign. This season, he has already come close to surpassing that tally, netting seven league goals in just 23 matches.

Semenyo has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool.
