Texoma FC have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Solomon Asante.
The United Soccer League Championship side have brought aboard the 34-year-old silky hitman to their fold for the 2025 season.
Asante has been playing in the second tier of American football for the past seven years where he featured for Phoenix Rising, Indy Eleven and Las Vegas Lights.
His signing is a major boost for the expansion side as he is widely known as a workaholic and a robust game changer.
"Solomon is a special player and is an incredible announcement for any club,"Texoma President Ben Watson stated. "We are blessed to be welcoming a player that has won virtually every accolade across the USL."
Texoma Head Coach Adrian Forbes added that; "You look at the career he has had, the awards he has won throughout his USL career - I am incredibly excited to have him as a part of the team.
"Besides being a goalscoring and attacking threat, he is a fantastic human being who will be looking to guide and mentor our younger attackers to follow in his footsteps."
