Spanish club Sevilla are in talks with Strasbourg over a possible £2m deal to sign Ghana defender Alexander Djiku, Kickgh.com can reveal.
However, the Blue-and-Whites are demanding £4m for the fleet-footed robust centre-back, whose contract expires at the end of this season
The Palanganas are eager to add red-hot talents this January in a bid to stay in the La Liga following a dreadful start to the 2022/23 season, with the Andalusian side currently sitting 19th in the 20-club league, having accrued just 15 points from 17 games of the campaign.
Having already secured the services of France U21 star Loïc Badé from Rennes on a six-months loan deal, with an option to buy, Sevilla are attempting to bring in a few more players before the end of the January winter transfer window.
