The hugely talented attacking midfielder has signed a contract with the Dutch Eredivisie heavyweights until the summer of 2027.

Dutch club Feyenoord have announced the signing of Ghanaian youngster Matthew Amoah Jr. on a three-year contract ahead of the 2024–25 season's campaign.

The 15-year-old, who is the son of former Black Stars striker Matthew Amoah, was offered a professional contract after impressing the Feyenoord technical handlers at the club's youth teams.

The club's official statement reads: “Under the watchful eye of family and friends, Matthew Amoah has signed his first professional contract with Feyenoord.”

“The 15-year-old attacking midfielder of Feyenoord Academy signed an agreement in the Press Centre of De Kuip that will keep him at the club until mid-2027.”

Amoah Jr. arrived at Feyenoord from the amateurs of Baronie in 2022 at age 13 and has been described as the next big thing in European football following his exploits in Dutch football.

Kickgh.com understands that Amoah Jr. has earned promotion to the Feyenoord U17 for the 2024–25 season after signing the three-year professional contract earlier today.

He is eligible to represent either Ghana or Holland at any level in the future.
