The Potters are reportedly leading the race to land the loan services of the 23-year-old from the elite division side in this January transfer window

English Championship side Stoke City have emerged as front-runners to secure the loan signing of Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Premier League club Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season, a report has indicated.

The promising left-footed flanksman, whose loan spell with Turkish side Caykur Rizespor was cut short this winter, is now a wanted man by a host of interested suitors across Europe, with Celtic, Coventry City and Swansea City all credited with a move for his loan services in this current transfer window.

Per Football lnsider, the former Premier League campaigners have initiated a move to sign the former Sheffield United loanee for the second half the current campaign, with the left-footed winger believed to be open to a move to the Bet365 Stadium until the end of the 2025-26 football season.

The report added that the Crystal Palace academy graduate has turned down the advances of fellow Championship rivals Swansea City as he was not convinced about joining them despite the agreed terms between both clubs for his loan transfer switch this winter.

Before he was recalled from his loan stint by the Eagles, Rak-Sakyi featured in 13 games by scoring 4 and setting up once for Caykur Rizespor across all competitions so far this term.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the London-born winger remains fit to switch international allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage having featured for the England U20 & U21 national youth teams.
