Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has candidly discussed his battle with injuries at Arsenal, highlighting his determination to overcome these setbacks and continue contributing to the team.

Partey, who transferred to Arsenal from Atletico Madrid, has been plagued by persistent muscular issues. His latest injury kept him sidelined for nearly eight months after an incident in October 2023.

Despite these challenges, the 30-year-old is steadfast in his resolve. "It’s life. Things happen and sometimes they are things you cannot control. But I have to keep going and keep fighting," Partey shared. "Every time I fall, I have to get up and fight back. That’s the mentality I have. I also think that any time I can help the team, that is what I have to do."

Last season, Partey's injuries limited him to just 16 matches across all competitions. However, his presence in Arsenal's preseason was notable, as he played over 60 minutes in their recent draw against Bournemouth.

Partey’s unwavering determination and commitment to Arsenal will be crucial as the team gears up for the 2024/25 season.
