The Die Roten are reportedly keen on landing the 19-year-old talented teenager from the Austrian elite division club in the next summer window after ruling out January transfer move this term

German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart have inquired about the availability of Ghanaian teenage sensation Edmund Baidoo in an effort to secure his signature from Austrian Bundesliga outfit RB Salzburg in the summer of 2026.

The ever-green winger, who linked up with the Red Bull Arena campaigners on a five-year deal from Norwegian outfit Sogndal IL in the summer of 2024, has now become a sought-after talent among European suitors, with Bundesliga trio namely; Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen all eyeing his services next season.

Per German outlet FT, those at the upper echelon of the MHPArena have already initiated move by contacting the Austrian outfit for the services of the 19-year-old and are now aware of his future situation, with an official approach over his pursuit expected to be made in the subsequent summer transfer window.

VfB Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle, quoted by Fussballtransfer has stated that ''The transfer window is closed'' as he ruled out winter transfer move for any targeted player after his side's 3-2 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Tuesady.

With his current running contract set to expire in 2029, those vying for his signature are to splash an amount of €4 million on his head if they are to land him going forward as per his transfermarkt valuation.

He has so far raked in 7 goals and assisted 5 in 29 game appearances for RB Salzburg across all competitions in this current 2025-26 campaign.
