In the Eredivisie clash held at the Van Donge & De Roo Stadium, Mohammed Kudus played a role in Ajax's 2-2 draw against Excelsior on a Saturday afternoon.

Kudus was included in the starting lineup and remained on the field for the full 90 minutes, alongside Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey, who also commenced the match and completed the entire game duration.

Ajax took the lead in the 25th minute as Brian Brobbey's right-footed shot from the center of the box found the bottom right corner of the net. The goal was set up by an assist from Carlos Forbs.

Despite Brian Brobbey's goal in the 41st minute, it was disallowed due to an offside decision.

Just before half-time, Excelsior equalized, with Siebe Horemans slotting a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner of the net from the center of the box. The goal was confirmed following a VAR review.

Nikolas Agrafiotis extended Excelsior's lead in the 48th minute, assisted by Lazaros Lamprou.

Ajax managed to secure a draw as Davy Klaassen scored in the 72nd minute, with Mohammed Kudus providing the assist for Klaassen's goal.

In their next league match, Ajax is set to face Fortuna Sittard.
