Former Ghana international, Anthony Annan has disclosed that Arsenal cult hero Thomas Partey and Ajax teenager Mohammed Kudus must prove they are capable of helping the Black Stars at the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to the midfield expert - who endeared himself to many football fans in Ghana, the current Black Stars team can prove their mettle in matches and surprise the world.
"We basically have a new set of players with knowledge of the task ahead. They have to put up their best to go beyond what we did or reach the same level that we reached in 2010. I hope and believe that they will do it," Annan stated.
“I can see that they have a good team. Partey is there, Kudus has been doing amazing and all the other players. They have to put their heads together and they have to know that this is the time they have to show themselves to the world that they are able to do anything," he concluded.
Ghana will play Switzerland in an international friendly on November 17 before starting their World Cup campaign on November 24 against Portugal in their first Group H game.
