The home-based national side midfielder has been annoyed by the assertions made by the skipper of their continental arch-rivals ahead of their reverse fixture of the CHAN qualifiers on Saturday
Ghana Black Galaxies midfielder Hafiz Ibrahim has said they are not afraid of the Nigeria's Super Eagles B team ahead of their second leg tie of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) final qualifying round of matches on Saturday (December 28) at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
The midfielder's comment follows the assertions of their counterparts captain Junior Nduka as the latter claimed that a bitter pill will be duly served to the Ghanaian side when they both square off in the return fixture on Saturday, with the first leg clash ending in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium over the weekend.
Hafiz said with great determination and good performance from his side, Ghana will emerge victorious at the end of the clash.
''When we go out there and we put out our best we know victory will be ours so we are not afraid of anyone. Insha Allah we are going to qualify for Ghana,'' he said as quoted by Citi Sports
The winner of the two-legged affairs will secure a place in the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) finals to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania next year.
