The tough-tackling defender says his side are leaving no stone unturned in their reverse fixture of the CHAN qualifiers against their continental sworn-enemies
Nigeria's Super Eagles B team captain Junior Harrison Nduka has sounded a warning to Ghana Black Galaxies team ahead of their second leg tie of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) final qualifying round of matches on Saturday (December 28) at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
The Remo Stars FC guardsman and his team-mates held the Black Galaxies to a pulsating goalless draw game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
However, given this outcome over the first leg tie, the Nigeria's skipper is now brimming with confidence he and his team-mates will put their arch-rivals to the sword when they both square off in the return fixture on Saturday.
The 21-year-old bragged that they will give their counterparts a bitter pill to swallow in vengeance to the same acerbic episode they encountered during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Nigeria two years ago.
''The last time I watched Ghana play against Nigeria was in Abuja, our stadium was vandalized,'' the centre-back recounted this acerbic event in an interview with Pan-Africa Football. ''We know how they [Ghana] gave us a bitter pill and this time round we need to give them the same pill as well because we know what is at stake. It is a must win for us, no compromise about it.''
He added: ''The future lies in our hands right now, we need to qualify by all means and at the same time we know we have to defend as well because the best way to defend is to attack.''
The winner of the two-legged affairs will secure a place in the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) finals to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania next year.
