The Black Queens of Ghana exhibited a five star performance to humiliate She Amavubi of Rwanda by an emphatic 0-7 at the Kigali Pele Stadium in the first leg of first round of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Coach Nora Hauptle handed starting berths to Evelyn Badu, Janet Egyir, Jennifer Cudjoe, Doris Boaduwaa, Priscilla Adubea, skipper Portia Boakye and more.

The Black Queens attacked the game right from onset in an explosive fashion which eventually got them the opener in just two minutes from kickoff through Doris Boaduwaa.

Seven minutes on, Evelyn Badu was played through nicely by Grace Acheampong, she comfortably rounded the goalkeeper and hit into the net to double the lead.

The She Amavubi looked off, but settled down at some point and had their first goal incursion on the 14th minute but was too feeble to go past Cynthia Konlan.

Priscilla Adubea made it 3-0 on the 28th minute after brilliantly connecting a teasing cross effected by Justice Tweneboah from the right.

In the second half, the She Amavubi returned looking charged up as they hope to better their performance this time around.

But, the Black Queens didn't stop their firepower as they continued the riot which got them their fourth in the 53rd minute through Alice Kusi.

On the 65th minute mark, Evelyn Badu, who currently plies her trade in Norway, found the back of the net to complete her brace.

Two minutes time, Ghana was awarded a penalty but Alice Kusi fired wide from just 15-yards. Anastasia Achiaa within five minutes scored double beauties to extend the Queens lead as the game finished 0-7 for Ghana after full time.

Nora Hauptle's impressive run continues as she's now won six matches and have 21 goals and conceded none within that period.

The return leg is scheduled for next Tuesday, September 26, in Accra.
