Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed confidence ahead of Ghana's pivotal clash against Sudan on Tuesday, October 15, in Round 4 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Addo highlighted his belief that Ghana is prepared to secure all three points, emphasizing that luck may play a decisive role this time after the team missed out on wins in their previous matches against Angola and Sudan.
“I’m very satisfied with the training. I think the boys adapted well. They're already willing to show what they can, and they had to put the last result behind them. It's clear we need goals. We created a lot of chances against Angola, and we deserved to win. We didn’t play well against Niger last time, but we also deserved to win. Very unlucky. But there's a saying, 'third time’s the charm,'” Addo stated.
He added, “We’ve had two strong games against Angola, and our last home game with Sudan. This is the third game now, and if we play the way we did, we will be able to win.”
The crucial fixture between Sudan and Ghana will kick off at 13:00 GMT on Tuesday.
