Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, has expressed confidence ahead of the Black Stars' second meeting with Sudan in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The two sides will clash on Tuesday, October 15, following their goalless draw in Accra last Thursday.

Reflecting on the first leg, Addo emphasized that Ghana deserved to win and is determined to secure victory in the return fixture.

“It’s part of football—sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're unlucky. It belongs to the game, but the probability is very high that you can't be unlucky three times in a row. If we show the same attitude, the same belief, and remain mentally strong, I'm confident we will win this game. The last match gave me a lot of confidence,” said Addo in his pre-match interview.

The match will take place in Libya at 13:00 GMT on Tuesday. With Ghana still in need of their first win in the campaign, all eyes are on Addo’s squad to deliver a crucial victory and keep their AFCON qualification hopes alive.
