All is set for the 2025 Ashanti Regional inter-school and colleges boys football competition which is set to commence in couple of days time with the qualifiers wrapped up last Tuesday, December 2. 

The qualifying campaign was played in between four days with all schools in the Ashanti Region drawn in 32 groups with the winners all booking their spot to the main competition

Defending champions Osei Kyeretwie SHS punched their ticket after finishing as winners of Group 23 ahead St. Michaels SHS, Effiduase SHTS and Wiafe Akenten SHS. 

Five-time champs Adu Gyamfi SHS, T.I AMASS, Kumasi, Prempeh College, Opoku Ware SHS, Simms SHS, Kumasi High School, Kumasi Anglican SHS, Islamic SHS, Sakafia SHS etc. 

The surprise packages will definitely go to schools like Pentecost SHS, Esaase Bontefufuo SHTS, Oppong Memorial SHS etc who all also secured a place in the much-awaited tournament. 

However, 2018 bronze winners Asanteman SHS failed to qualify so as Osei Tutu Boys SHS, Aduman SHS and Antoa SHS. 

The official date for the main is yet to be announced by the Ghana Education Service
